The Peace Palace Project is an inspiring initiative to establish a permanent home for Maharishi’s Vedic knowledge and technologies of consciousness. This extraordinary endeavour seeks to create a sanctuary where individuals can experience Transcendental Meditation®, residential retreats, and daily group programs in a serene Maharishi Vastu environment that radiates coherence and peace to the world.

Our Vision

A Permanent Home
A sanctuary dedicated to Maharishi’s teachings and the advancement of consciousness.

A Maharishi Vastu Venue
A space where visitors can experience Maharishi Vedic architecture.

Residential Retreat Facility
A dedicated space for individuals to experience the profound benefits of TM Retreats in a peaceful, natural setting.

Daily Group Programs
A facility to host regular group meditations, creating coherence and harmony for the local environment.

Current Progress

In Maleny, we’ve already made significant strides:

  • Regular Group Meditation: Weekly group meditations, regular group programs, monthly one day retreats and dinners for meditators.

  • Courses Offered: On-going Transcendental Meditation courses, monthly one day retreats, two in residence TM Retreats and two World Peace Assemblies annually.

  • Community Presence: Six Maharishi Vastu homes already established in the area.

The Property

We’ve identified a stunning 48-acre property in Maleny, featuring:

  • Old-growth rainforest and hoop pine forest.

  • A large waterfall with swimming areas.

  • Two access points and existing buildings.

  • Two designated building sites approved by experts:

    • 4,275 m² area near the entrance.

    • 2.33 Ha area near the waterfall.

Our Plan for the Peace Palace

  • A two-storey Peace Palace with flying rooms, teaching and consulting spaces, and accommodation for courses such as WPA and residence programmes.

  • Small cabins for additional accommodation.

  • Potential for a Panchakarma (PK) clinic.

  • Additional areas for semi-permanent or permanent dwellings.

This location, just 10 minutes from Maleny’s main street, is ideal for Meditators, Sidhas, and people coming to learn TM.

Our Immediate Goal:
Raise $7,000 to $10,000 to complete a preliminary assessment with a Town Planner.

  • What’s Been Done:
    We’ve already raised nearly $4,500 through donations and GoFundMe. $5,500 still needed for this first stage.

  • What’s Next:
    Once we reach this goal, we’ll begin detailed planning and move forward with council approvals.

Future Steps:

  1. Submit a detailed construction proposal.

  2. Secure council approval and purchase the land ($3 million required).

  3. Raise additional funds to build the Peace Palace and related facilities.
